How these numbers are worked out

  • Every method assumes you spend exactly the amount above, with fees taken out of it, and is measured against the mid-market rate.
  • Bank wire: 25 EUR in sending and intermediary fees, plus a 2.5% markup on the exchange rate.
  • Wise: 1.5 EUR plus 0.45% of the amount, converted at the mid-market rate.
  • PayPal: 2% of the amount, plus a 3% markup on the exchange rate.
  • USDT via WorkTGT: 0.1% of the payout (min 0.5, max 5 USDT), network gas included. USDT is counted at 1 USD, plus a 0.15% spread when the recipient converts USDT to local currency.

How contractors in Brazil cash out

Recipients sell USDT on an exchange operating in Brazil and withdraw reais by Pix. The Central Bank of Brazil supervises virtual asset service providers, so a licensed local platform is the straightforward route.

Before the first payout, confirm with the contractor

  • Their USDT address on BNB Smart Chain (BEP20). A TRON (TRC20) address is a different network and cannot receive this transfer.
  • That their exchange or wallet accepts BEP20 USDT deposits.
  • Which platform they will use to convert, and roughly what it charges.
  • The invoice currency and amount, so the payout can be matched to it later.

How a team pays a contractor in Brazil in WorkTGT

The flow is the same for every country. Only the recipient's address and the way they cash out change.

  1. 1

    Register the contractor once

An admin adds the contractor's name and BEP20 address. New addresses can require an extra approval, so an address swapped in a chat message cannot slip through.

  2. 2

    Raise a payout request

The requester enters the amount in USDT, attaches the invoice or a note, and submits. The fee is shown before anyone approves.

  3. 3

    Approve

Designated approvers check the request against the invoice. Large amounts can require more approvals than routine ones.

  4. 4

Sign and execute from your Safe

Safe owners sign in their own wallets until the threshold is met. Payout and fee leave in one transaction, and WorkTGT never holds the funds or the keys.

  5. 5

    Keep the record

Every step lands in an append-only audit log with the on-chain transaction hash, ready to export to CSV for your accountant.

Frequently asked questions

Is it allowed to pay a contractor in Brazil in USDT?

Brazil has a legal framework for virtual asset service providers and requires crypto transactions above certain thresholds to be reported to the tax authority. The contractor should confirm their income and reporting obligations with a local accountant.

Which USDT address should a contractor in Brazil give us?

A USDT address on BNB Smart Chain (BEP20), which starts with 0x. WorkTGT pays from a Safe on BNB Smart Chain, so TRON (TRC20) addresses will not work. Ethereum uses the same 0x format, so the contractor should confirm their exchange credits BEP20 deposits to that address.

How much does it cost to pay a contractor in Brazil with WorkTGT?

WorkTGT is free to use. Each executed payout costs 0.1%, at least 0.5 and at most 5 USDT, with gas included: 1 USDT on a 1,000 USDT payout. The contractor's own exchange fees for converting into local currency (BRL) are separate.

How long does a USDT payout take to arrive?

Once the last signer executes, a BNB Smart Chain transfer usually confirms within seconds to a minute. The part that varies is your own approval process and the contractor's conversion to local currency.

Do we still need a contract and invoices?

Yes. Paying in USDT does not replace a contractor agreement, invoices, or either side's tax obligations. WorkTGT links each payout to its request and keeps the transaction hash, which makes the paper trail easier to keep.
